Born to Run Poet Pant
Our dreamy new Poet Pants are made from a lightweight, drapey viscose crepe that moves like poetry in motion! With a flowier cut than our Artist Pants, they feature an elastic waistband with drawstring, roomy pockets, and a breezy 3/4 length. The gently tapered cuffs create a billowed silhouette reminiscent of vintage artist smocks— relaxed, romantic, and ready for adventure. Wear them with sandals and a tank for wandering cobblestone streets, or dress them up with oxfords and a structured blouse for an effortlessly bohemian vibe. Warning: may inspire spontaneous sonnet-writing ;)
About the Print:
All good things are wild and free! Created to celebrate the unbridled spirit of adventure, Born to Run blends vintage-washed, heritage prints with the untamed energy of two rearing racehorses by British painter George Stubbs. The beautiful, airy backdrop behind the horses is actually a scenic lithograph from the 1897 World’s Fair, and the faded florals and golden wheat were taken from an 1800’s farmers diploma. The whole design is trimmed in a washed heritage plaid, reminiscent of sun-faded chambray and days at home on the range :)
*Please note: due to the natural characteristics of viscose crepe fibres, our Poet Pants will shrink slightly when washed. To recover the size, reshape gently and then iron thoroughly while damp.
100% viscose. Handwash, reshape and iron while damp. Or dry clean.
Poet pants are available in two sizes: S/M, which will fit approximately size 4/6 to size 10/12 — and L/XL, which will fit approximately size 12 to 16.
Approx. Measurements for S/M Length: 89cm (top of waistband to hem), Waist (stretched): 102cm around, Waist (unstretched): 81cm, Hip: 132cm and for L/XL: Length: 93cm (top of waistband to hem) Waist (stretched): 110cm around, Waist (unstretched): 91cm, Hip: 147cm
