Étoile Simple Slip
We’re a big fan of simple slips! Used as a wardrobe staple for (literally) centuries, slips are the perfect piece for layering, providing extra coverage under sheer dresses & skirts, and adding detail to your looks. Since our soft bamboo fabric can be on the sheer side — and most slips offered at chain stores are made from uncomfortable synthetics — many of you have asked us to make a slip available as part of our line. Et voila… meet the Étoile slip!
Carefully designed to layer under our dresses— the neckline and straps follow our Bohéme slip dress (we’ve shown it under our Peace Wine & Sunshine dress in the photos below), and the length is just right for under our Frocks. They are made breathable, natural rayon that has a smooth drape. And while the Ètoile slip was created specifically for wearing with our dresses, we know you’ll find all kinds of other uses for them too! Layer them under a skirt and add a Starduster on top, wear them with a button up shirt and leggings, or layer them under a tunic to extend to extend the length and add tights… there are literally so many ways to wear a slip :)
100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as bamboo and wood). Handwash and hang to dry.
Measurements — S/M: 51cm across underarm to underarm, 56cm across hips. L/XL: 58cm underarm to underarm, 65cm across hips. Model is 5'8" for reference, and is wearing an S/M. Peace Wine & Sunshine Bohéme Slip Dress is shown for example and not included.
