Milk & Honey Bohéme Slip Dress
When we unearthed a whimsical & cheeky 1904 poster from Brooklyn, NY, advertising a musical number called “I Wonder Will You Always Call Me Honey”, we were so charmed! Using the nostalgic graphics, along with woodcut stars and flowers drawn the same year by artist Theo Hoytema, we created our playful Milk & Honey print. The adjustable straps, oversized cut, and soft, flowy bamboo viscose make it a wardrobe staple for layering, running errands, dancing, lounging or napping — and it’s a must-have for travel, wherever you roam.
You can also wear it two ways, with the writing on the front of the bodice, or the back — depending on your mood. Featuring an antique parchment background with faded black and honey details, it feels instantly vintage and utterly wearable :)
Please note: The nature of our soft bamboo/wood viscose means it’s slightly sheer, so we recommend layering it with our Étoile slip (or any other slip you have) when wearing it with bare legs. Our model in the photos is wearing the dress without a slip.
100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as wood and bamboo). Machine wash gentle or handwash and hang to dry. Iron to finish if needed.

Grab your jean jacket — and get ready for adventure! (Even if it’s only to the local market ;)) This dress was made for travel, sunshine and skipping through daisies. Layer it over a lace bralette, or white t-shirt for a 90s vibe, or take it back to the 70s with a sunhat, beaded necklace, and sun-kissed cheeks. You can also catch us wearing this piece around the house, curled up by the window with a good book. And just like all of our Bohéme slip dresses, don’t let colder weather stop you from keeping this dress in high rotation — layer it up for fall with tights, boots, and a cozy sweater :)

Just like today, newspapers and magazine journals from the late 1800s and early 1900s frequently contained pull out supplements to entice readers to purchase them. These bonus inserts were often posters, instructions for crafts, recipes, or — in the case of the artwork we used for our Milk & Honey print — musical supplements with words and music that could be played and sung at home. While the poster we found was intact, the music and lyrics were missing, leaving us to wonder about the song ;)
