Peace Out Pixie Duster (Cropped Length)
We need more peace… in the world, and in our hearts! Airy and joyful, this uplifting design is a beautiful way to share a message of good will and kindness.
We used a rare, antique hand-painted perfumeur sign from Paris with gentle tones of blue & aqua as the backdrop for this print, and added a landscape with rising sun and a breezy cloud painting from the 1800’s. The soaring watercolour and graphite dove, and enduring symbol of grace and peace, is taken from an 1881 lithograph. To finish this happy design, we added the words “Keep the Peace” and “Peace Out” (as well as a few classic peace-signs) as a nod to the 1960’s and a reminder to practice peace and spread the love :)
100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as wood and bamboo). Machine wash gentle or handwash and hang to dry. Iron to finish if needed.
Kimono measurements: length 58cm, width (across back, underarm to underarm) 74cm. Model is 5’8” for reference.

Beathe deep and keep the peace! This uplifting print is rich with positive symbols — including the dove, one of our emblems here at Market of Stars. An ancient representation of peace, hope, and new beginnings that appears in cultures around the world — doves are often shown in flight, carrying messages of love and calm. The rising sun, another timeless symbol, stands for renewal, light, and the promise of a new day. And of course, we couldn’t resist a little wink to the 60’s— with phrases like "Keep the Peace" and "Peace Out", along with a few classic peace signs. Fun fact: the peace symbol itself was originally created in 1958 by British designer Gerald Holtom for nuclear disarmament, and was universally adopted throughout the 1960’s Peace & Love movement…and beyond. We hope this joyful print helps you spread the love wherever you go :)
